My name is Aldo Fabbricatore from Caracas, Venezuela, I'm 54 years old. My father was from Acri, Cosenza, he was born in 1922 and died in 1986. He got a degree in Philosophy and Literature from Napoli University just two years later from the end of world war two and one before emigrate to Venezuela in 1948 as a Teacher. I still have family in Acri, uncles and cousins. Uncles Raffaele, Benito, Elvira, Clotilde (living in Sicilia) and Romilda (living in Soberato). Uncles Gino and Francesco died there and Mario and my father died in Venezuela. Recently I read a book; "Memorie Storiche di Acri" written by Raffaelo Capalbo in wich he mention Fabbricatore family twice.
I have two daugthers and one son, My oldest daugther is living in Norman, OK and my son in Spain studiying post grade in medicine. My son is also Aldo as me and my father. Here in Venezuela I have six more cousins Fabbricatore and I know others families with the same lastname but they are not family of us. My father told me others Fabbricatore emigrate to Argentina, Brazil and the States.
