My great-grandfather Rudolph Faas was born in Wurtemburg Germany in 1831. He arrived in this country about 1850. He lived in Rhode Island in 1855 and in Mass. in 1858. The 1860 has him living in Providence RI. His profession was listed as a jeweler. Rudolph was married to Katherine and they had three children, Charles, Lillian and William. Could Rudolph and Charles who was also born in Wurtemburg be brothers? If they brothers, I would like to have information about their ancestors.
