Jim, I don't have any more info on Mary Ann Darcy, other than she was born Catholic somewhere in Ireland, and married in Canada a Baptist (I think), who was born near Dublin. She secretly raised the girls Catholic, and all the boys were Masons. I'm new at this, so I'm not informed on how to look for obits, or how to search Canadian records. I was hoping there was someone out there that already had all that sort of info and knew all about my Mary Ann!!!! I'm not even sure how she spelled her name. I understand that there are sort of eastern Ireland D'Arcys and western Ireland Darcys, and don't know if they are related at all. I've been in Galway and Mayo, and had this "feeling" near Leenane, that I'd been there before, so I'm thinking that I may be from the western Darcys, but I really don't know! I guess that's why I'm looking into it now.
