Helen, What a kind offer. I'd love to have the copy of the deed. The Colquhouns of Petersburg are part of my husband's family through his GGGrandmother, Barbara Chalmers Colquhoun who married Lilburn Henderson Trigg of Richmond.. My best guess is the Mary of the deed was her older sister. I believe Mary and her husband, James Galt had no children. The Gilliams are connected to this family as well.
