There sure were lots of Williamsons from Tennessee in the war. I think you are onto the right track, but there are several twists and turns. I think the boys first joined Neely's 4th Tennessee Infantry, Company K, the "Dyer Guards". In that company I find H.C. and L.P. The Sergeant Major of the regiment was J.A. Williamson. Over in Company C we find Sgt. W.W. Williamson - he could have first been in Co. K as a private and was promoted to Sgt. and moved to Co. C.
The 15th Cavalry (Stewart's) was organized in August of 1863. It is possible that these brothers went to the new organization together. Or it's possible they stayed put. It gets real hard to follow this unit as they are merged with so many different units and go by different names (not unusual with cavalry). However in Co. C of the 15th (Stewart's) we find H.C. At some point this unit is consolidated with others to become the 15th Consolidated Tennessee Cavalry. Here we find a Samuel Williamson in Co. F and Captain John A. in command of Co. K.
If you go to this board:
http://history-sites.com/cgi-bin/bbs53x/tncwmb/webbbs_config.pl you will likely find more expertise on specific Tennessee units than you will find on a general Civil War board. Once you are satisfied you have the right men, you can order their records directly from that board and perhaps get detail you might not otherwise know about.

Good Luck,
Rick
