I am researching information on my 3rd great Grandfather Isaac Rains Elder.He was the son of Mary b.1775 in Pennsylvania and father unknown.Isaac was born 1797 in Ohio.They resided in Hocking County before moving on to Effingham County,Illinois.I assume the name Rains is his mothers maiden name.She had another son name of Thomas b.1794 in Pennsyvania.If you recognize these folks please contact me.Thank you very much for your time,Sandra
