Jane Cairns Northern Ireland 1900's?

Hi, I am trying to trace my dad's family - we recently discovered that my dad was adopted and his birth mother was Jane Cairns, the story goes like this.. Jane was a young girl sent into the City to work as a maid and she became pregnant - maybe to the man of the grand house she worked in, Jane was then sent to a safe house off the falls road in Belfast to have her baby boy my dad Robert - it was a house owned by the catholic church and my dads adopted parents lived on the same road and took the baby from Jane before the priest could sell him to the rich americans, my dad was born in July 1932. Jane would visit and my dad remembers visiting the countryside with her although at the time he did not realise this was his mother - she would have been quite young and unmarried when she had my dad 'robert'... if you have any information regarding this I would be eternally grateful.
We think Jane came from a farming family maybe in the north of Ireland somewhere???
Thanks Lorraine.
