I am looking for information on Peter Cairns, he was a shoemaker in Ireland/Scotland. He was married to Elizabeth, had a son named James and a son named John.
John Cairns was my GGGrandfather, his father, Peter, died when John was 5; and his mother died when he was 10.
Would love to have information on Peter, his parents, where he was born, why he died.
Who raised the children after their mother died?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
