Helen, from what my father told me and my Tia Ninfa (now deceased) have said; Our Cabrera Family came from the Balearic Islands around 1705-1711 to settle Mexico. We were the 13th Family of the "Canary Islanders" that came to Mexico, then a Spanish province and eventually settled in San Antonio. Some of my relatives are Aucencio and Jose Ricardo-my fathers brothers. My father Jesus Cabrera passed away in 1976, and the rest of his family was primarily in Corpus Christi. After he passed away, we lost contact with them-and have never heard from them since. His sisters, Alma, Yolanda, Lilly and another whos name I cannot remember, were there. Lilly was in Pleasanton, Pleasantville, somewhere close to San Antone; they had at least one Son named Marshal, and one Grandson/niece/whatever name Pickle. Hope you can connect some dots.. Jesse Cabrera
