Unfortunately, I don't recognize any of the names you listed. However, I am just beginning my search. My father, Charles Ray Cabaniss pasted away in 1993. I never met any great/grand parents, aunts, uncles or cousins on my paternal side.
The names my mother, Diana Lou Drake Cabaniss gave me are:
Asa Grey Cabaniss (Chapel Hill North Carolina). He was my father's father, my grandfather.
Zona (My grandmother). Mother of my father, my grandmother.
I have a few other sibling names, but that is all.
I found the name and phone number of a lady that lives in the area and was trying to get up the nerve to call. I wouldn't know what to say or how to say it. Any advise is welcome.
