Cabaniss/Cabiness, et reserachers. A recent lengthy article in either Genealogy Com or one of the publications of the National Genealogy Society had a rather lengthly article on copyright laws, most of which surprised even me. Would advise everyone to obtain a copy of the Copy Right Laws from the Coppyright office. Losts of if, ands and buts, however the one thing that struck me was NO BOOK CAN BECOME PUBLIC DOMINE UNTIL THE AUTHOR HAS BEEN DEAD 80 YEARS. Ouch. But get a copy of read all of the laws for yourselves Rather than ask someone to interpret them for you. Ilost a battle with Macular Degeneration and can no longer see to read. Hope this message is readable.
