I don't know where Susan came from. The reason I posted the query was because I did a search for info on William Allin and found "The Cabells and their Kin", page 465, which states that Susan was the daughter of William who was the daughter of Thomas, of Gen. Greene's staff.
The only info I have on William's children is three boys: Benjamin, Thomas Hooe and John Hooe. Susan might very well be William's daughter, but I have found no evidence except the listing in the Cabell book.
There is so little info on William Hunt Allin and Eliza Hooe. I have found so much info on everyone else in my family. I believe I will have to take a trip to Harrodsburg, KY someday (I live in Los Angeles) to get answers. Nothing online has helped.
