This Cabell line is not in Cabell and Their Kin because it's of those Col. John Cabell's family of which I am decended. Col. John Cabell was the black sheep of the Cabell family for numerous decades. John Jordan Cabell was the son of Col. John Cabell son of Dr. William Cabell. Marcia Croye wrote a book on the WV Cabells, which I contributed to, but I did not contribute the information of Samuel Jordan Cabell.
