Hi Cabe family. I have found that Hester Moore Cabe died 1 May 1946 per NC deaths 1909-1975. This does not agree with the Cabe family book but comes from a son of Reba Cabe Smith that was Hesters daughter and Hester lived with Reba until her death. At the time of Hesters death her last name was Smith also as she had married Otis Smith after the death of Steven Cabe. Stephen, Steven, Stezen Cabe on the other hand has the middle name of Anderson on his death certificate but Arther in the Cabe book.
Also thank you to the ones that helped me to locate at least part of this information. I still have a long way to go and will be glad to see this Cabe Genealogy Forum back on line. And a reminder to us all. DON'T BELIEVE EVERY THING YOU READ ON THE NET UNTIL YOU HAVE PROOF. jt
