Hello Cathy,
Have you had any luck following up on your brother's genealogy?
I and some of the others who occasionally visit this forum decend from some of the Cabe's who were from Oklahoma, Texas and North Carolina. If you tell us a bit more about your cabe's (parents and grandparents) we might be able to help you out.
