I just wanted to let everyone know that our little genealogy group is still going strong on the internet. We have had problems with the website at www.thecabefamily.org, but we are trying to work those out. For the time being, we are all assembling on our mailing list. You can reach us at

This is our mailing list. If you are not on this mailing list and are researching the Cabe lineage, we would LOVE to have you in our group. We currently have 57 members from around the US. We can always use more people with moer research and more people to do research to be able to track our lineage.
We have been currently researching Amos Cabe(b. 1771 in NC) and John McCabe (from lincoln co, NC), but we also have other members doing research on other ancestors outside these two.
Please join us and help in filling out the ancestry of the Cabe family!
