Hi Neil,

I just looked up LangFang - is NW of Tientsin on the way to Pekin, so he must have been in Seymours column I think...?

The monument at Portsmouth details him as killed in defence of Tientsin rather than Seymour's column.

From what you have said this may be incorrect.
