I just know my husband's great-grandfather was John Henry Beard, and his father was J.H. Beard (possibly also John Henry). I know they came from PA to MO where John Henry was born. I have no other information on his parents or siblings. I am trying to connect him with MO Beards, but so far have not found him on the 1850 census. He was supposed to have come to TX in 1851.
