Hi Lisa: I have done research or am working on 14 German Russian villages. One I have Babel's at. They were Lutheran but lived in a Jewish village. The one village I worked on from 1861-1885 was Jewish but I did the Lutheran Parish records from there. The village was Bobrowyj Kut and was located within the Swedish Colonies in the Nikolajew Area of Russia. Bobrowyj Kut has many different spellings I have even seen P. Kut. Maybe I can help but I would need the name of the person/couple who came to North America. And maybe their parents. What I need is info getting me back into the filmed years that I have researched. The Lutheran/Catholic and Mennonites at Bobrowyj Kut many were Musterwirtes (Sample Farmers). Take care. Brian Notify Administrator about this message?
