Picking up Bable research again

I'm trying to pick up research on my husband's family again, but I still don't have very much to work with.

I'm looking for info on the ancestors of Franklyn Clark Bable, married to Leona Janz, last known address Coraopolis (Pittsburgh), PA. His mother's name was Lucy Truax, but I don't have his father's name. The sketchy info I have has his death year as 1980. Frank and Leona had at least 2 sons, Franklyn Duane and James Thomas, and at least one daughter whose name escapes me at the moment.

My husband thinks the family may be either German or Russian, although Mr. McQueen here (Hi!) told me once that the family was Jewish (and I know the 2 aren't necessarily mutually exclusive). That was a 6 years ago though, so I was wondering if anyone has any new information they've found since then.

I know this isn't much at all to go on, but thanks in advance for an assistance anyone can give.
