Many of the BABCOCKS in Canada go back to Loyalist roots. In what's now Ontario there were families in the Kingston area and to the west of Kingston as well as another group in Prince Edward County ON. I am from the John BABCOCK Sr. UE group from Prince Edward Co. If I had some idea where in Canada your BABCOCKS were from, it would help. My BABCOCKS were from NJ and the Kingston area ones likely had roots in lower NY.
