Hi Heather,
Can I ask you where you found the information about Thankful Barbara Garlick? It seems to me that I found another story from Ross, I believe, that said that in 1788, David Babcock, the UEL, moved to Nova Scotia. There, his first wife, Barbara Garlick, and their first child died in a fire. If that is the case, Then how would we get any documentation about all this?
I thought that David Babcock, the Emigrant's first wife was Thankful, but her last name is not known yet. Do you have proff that Thankful Barbara Garlick was the full name of David Babcock's first wife, the UEL, David? Thanks for your input, Bonnie.
