Hi Heather. I have a question for you. How did you get the birth date for Rebecca Babcock, daughter of David. You have birth date of 1785 Vermont. Do you have documentation for that? I saw another birth date of 1791. There is a Rebecca Babcock, wife of William Clark, born 1791 in the Union Lutheran Cemetery in Ernesttown. Her age is very specific, and it comes out to 1791. You have William Clark as being born in 1791. Do you have documentation for that?
I'm curious to know also what happened to David Babcock from when he was born in Stonington, RI, when he married Thankful Barbara Garlick (and could it be true that Thankful UNKOWN could be Thankful Barbara Garlick? Do you have any links that prove this. Please know that I am searching for answers to these difficult questions. You have put in so much work to trace this family. I come up with some holes in the documentation. Do you know when David Babcock from Stonington came to Canada? I know the two David Babcock's knew each other. Someone read something at David Babcock's will reading from the other David Babcock's family. Do you know where borth David Babcock's died, and where both David Babcocks are buried? Why would Also, When did David Babcvock's wife die, and where was she buried? Both David Babcock's wives. These facts would be very important to me.
