I am still searching for parents of Silence Babcock, born in Stratton, Windsor Co VT 1799.
I understand her father to be David Babcock and mother may have been named Sarah or Susan - last name unknown. Looking for mother's last name.
Silence married Hudson Grout June 11 1823. She died 3/14/1859.
Who are parents of David (Silence's father)?
My research has shown lots of David Babcock's but am unable to tie any one to Silence.
