A biography of George H. Babcock is included in "Progressive Men of the State of Montana". Parents: J.J. and Sarah (Martin) Babcock, natives of Vermont. In Mar 1885, George married Miss Hallie Truby, a native of Pennsylvania, daughter of Henry Truby, who lived near Bridger, MT. Babcock children: Truby, Charles and Elvin (twins), George, Hazel, John.
