My wife's grandfather, Joseph James Strange, lived with his wife and young daughter at 1715 Conner Street in Joplin Missouri in 1917 when he registered for the draft. Her name is believed to be Ethel Babbs and they had a daughter Anna Mary who married a Nagle and lived out her life in California. This marriage ended about 1920, but no record of teh divorce can be found in Missouri. Ethel is believed to be part native American and may be from Oklahoma. Joseph returned to Pennsylvania and married under his real name of Joseph Shecora.
Any assistance in locating Ethel or her parents would be appreciated.
