THOMAS CREESEY BABB

Elizabeth City, North Carolina, January 18 - Age 73, died Sunday, January 18, 1953 in the
Albemarle Hospital after an illness of about three months. He was a native of Gates County, but
had lived in Hertford for the past 67 years and lived at 36 Grubb Street. He was the son of
EULALIA DUKE and THOMAS WASHINGTON BABB and the husband of the late Mrs.
HELEN GREGORY BABB and a member of the Hartford Baptist Church. He was a retired
carpenter and cabinet maker. He is survived by 1 sister, Miss ALICE BABB of Hertford and 1
son, EVERETT DUKE BABB of Whiteville. The body was taken to the Twiford Funeral Home
in Hertford pending completion of funeral arrangements.
