Michael Baatz married Ms. Appolonia Streit (Dau of Johann and Anna Marie Streit) 16 Feb 1898 in Aurora, Kane Co, Illinois. I have been searching for the parents and any other information on Michael Baatz as he had immigrated to the US in 1892 from Luxemburg.
Michael Baatz was born on 7 Jun 1872 in Echternach, Luxemburg and his parents (which information I just got from the 1925 Iowa State Census) were John Baatz and Chresten Bartelo. Both were born in Luxemburg, but I don't know if they came to the US or not.
If anyone has any further information about Michael Baatz of Illinois (1892-1908) or Iowa (1908-1943) I would appreciate it. I have most of his history from 1892-1930 Census wise, but if anyone has other sources of info I would like to know of them.
