Hi Mary,

I know almost NOTHING about Louisa Baad. I first learned about her when I started researching my Barrick line. In the Hill's History of Coshocton County, one detail of the profile of Daniel Henry Barrick was that he married Margaret Stroup, the daughter of Henry and LOUISA BADD Stroup. I have NO clue about any of Louisa's siblings. The 1880 Ohio census lists the following members of the Stroup houshold as: Henry, LOUISA age 50 (born in Wurtemburg), Wm.,John, Henry E.,Christina (possibly named for an uncle Christian ?), daughter-in-law Nancy and nephew John Baad. Early records of St. John's Lutheran Church in New Bedford, donated to the Holmes County Historical Society records one of the early families was Adam Baad. I have a message posted on the Germany - Wurtemburg message board, but so far have had no answers. I would like to persue this a little further. Do you live in Ohio?
