Hi Darin,

Canton/Magnolia is not far from Coshocton County, so your family COULD BE descended from the Baads that settled near New Bedford. You don't give any dates for anyone and the names are unfamiliar. Have you read my answer to Mary Brown Dawson (located below)? The 1880 Ohio census lists the following Baads in Coshocton County: Jacob, John (2),Adam, Frederick and Frederick A.,Christian G. and Samuel F in Holmes County, German twp (located just north of New Bedford). In the same census, Frederick Baad age 16 is a boarder with Christian and Catherine Stroup and JOHN BAAD is a boarder with Henry and Louisa Baad Stroup. Those are the only details I have at present. This line has sort of been on hold while I work on others.
