I see this message is 4 years old so I hope there is still interest. Captain Francis Abair was my great-great grandfather so I have a lot of information about him, including his family, information about the ship he sailed, where it went down in Lake Ontario (after he sold it) and a small museum about it near Rochester, NY. He had 2 daughters who became Ursaline nuns and went to Montana to teach the indians. I have pictures of them also.
He had a son, Frank, who went to Denver during the 1889 gold rush. If anyone has any information about him I'd love to hear about it.
